This pattern is available both in English and French.

In February 2018, I went to a yarn event in Paris where I found a pair of perfectly matched skeins from two Canadian dyers. It was obvious that they had to be reunited on what I called for many months “my Canadian shawl”.
Thanks to Annie (from Knitting it up), the shawl has now its own pretty name, which is a wink to Montréal.

Five Roses is knitted from the top down, alternating garter stitch, stripes and a bit of lace. You know me, I can not resist this combination of fetish elements :)

En février 2018, je suis allé à l’Aiguille en Fête à Paris où j’ai trouvé deux écheveaux parfaitement assortis provenant de deux dyers canadiens. Il était évident qu’ils devaient être réunis pour ce que j’ai appelé pendant plusieurs mois “mon châle canadien”.
Grâce à Annie (de Knitting it up), le châle a maintenant son propre joli nom, en clin d’œil à la ville de Montréal.

“Five Roses” est tricoté de haut en bas, alternant le point mousse, les rayures et un peu de dentelle. Vous me connaissez, je ne peux pas résister à cette combinaison d’éléments fétiches :)
