This design is a very simple, classic style appropriate for any project. I particularly like the wrong side! But that’s a matter of taste, of course. The five-stitch pattern can be spaced however you wish, including continuous train of the two-one-two as in the Happy Trails design. Also, the yarn you choose for your Color Loops can be as wild as you wish, and it will never overpower the body of the project. In my swatch sock I used a copper-colored sparkly yarn and it remains a subtle design. Although, maybe it’s hard to get past all that blue…. Yarn credits for this sample sock:
