ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Five Stripes Sweater is worked from top to bottom on circular needles. Work the top of the back in back and forth, then leave these stitches on hold and pick up stitches along the back cast-on edge to form the shoulders and neckline.
Join the front and back and continue in the round in stockinette stitch. Next, pick up stitches along the armholes to work the sleeves in the round.
Finally work the neck in (k1, p1) rib.
The Five Stripes is a light and airy sweater.
