I find myself mostly wearing triangular shawls with the point at the front and wrapping it around the back until it doesn’t fall off. This cowlette’s main feature is being able to show off at the front while leaving no bulk at the back of your neck. Just pop it on over your head and forget about the worry of it falling off.

This cowlette begins by being worked back and forth like a traditional triangular shawl and then later joined in the round at the lace section to create the cowl.

The Fixation Cowlette blooms when done in a self striping yarn but also looks great in a solid. The aran weight version is 20” from top of cowl to the tip of the picot edging and the worsted weight produces a smaller cowlette at 15”.
