A versatile pattern, easy to scale to whatever size you require. You can keep it simple and go all one colour, or go wild and do several colours. Relatively quick to work up, easy to memorise, this makes for a great stocking stuffer or gift.

Gauge is not important - but it is important you measure your work as you go along.

You’ll need a 3.75mm hook (F) hook - or the hook that works best for the yarn you’re using and your tension.

You’ll also need a yarn needle, a stitch marker (a scrap of contrasting yarn will do), rule or measuring tape. A bonus if you have fabric clips as they can make sewing up the gloves a bit less fiddly.

For the tutorial, I made a pair using Stylecraft Special DK (100g) and a pair in Scheepjes Merino Soft Brush (2 x 50g).

This download includes PDFs in UK and USA terms in expanded and abbreviated versions. The expanded is the same as the version on my blog – the abbreviated has most of the tips and quite a few of the pictures stripped out – a bit easier on the printer ink if you don’t need a whole lot of guidance.
