Fizzy Headband
If you have some fuzzy, fizzy, eyelash-type of novelty yarn hanging around, here’s a way to use it up. I’ve been thinking about making these happy little headbands for a while, and have worked out a very simple pattern for you to enjoy.
You can use ANY worsted weight and ANY type of carry along novelty fluff that you like. Try crazy combos! You’ll be surprised at how much fun they are to do! These are fast and easy and will make great stocking stuffers. Just sayin’!
Gauge measures 4 sts./in. per inch in 2 x 2 rib stitch. The headband is approximately 4” deep x 17” in circumference, which stretches to fit at 20”– 21”. Adjust sizing in multiples of 4 stitches.

Materials
One skein of Plymouth, Encore or Encore Starz will make 4 headbands. Each headband uses approximately
20 grams or 50 yards of yarn. ANY worsted weight yarn will work in this pattern.
Fizz Stardust – approximately 20 yards. You will need to use a double strand of the novelty yarn for the bind off.
Size 7 circular needles, 16” or 24” length. (Stitches will stretch to go around a 24” cable, but it can be done:relaxed:)
Stitch marker. Yarn needle.
