Do you love knitting wonderful cables? Have you also tried Tunisian crochet? Why not combine them both?

This easy to construct cushion cover mixes the best of both worlds. The intricate cables are brought forth and underlined by the rustic simplicity of the Tunisian simple stitch. Top it up with some wooden buttons and you’ve got your own piece of country side on your couch.

You will need:
2 skeins wool of your choice in chunky weight - 1 for color A, 1 for color B,
1 additional skein if you also knit / crochet the back, instead of attaching to a fabric
Pair of 6 mm needles (or whatever size necessary to meet gauge)
6mm normal crochet hook
8mm Tunisian crochet hook
Cable needle
Blunt needle for weaving loose ends and sewing pieces together
Stuffing material /Fabric texture for the back and a zipper (if you do just the front)
4 big wooden buttons
1m of spare thick yarn in any color you like, for the buttons’ decorative loops
