“Spanish Dancer” laceweight yarn is worked in broomstick lace to create this colorful and comfortable shawl. Stitches are decreased so the top is narrower than the bottom, and hugs the shoulders. Fling this shawl over your shoulder, and the resulting gathers resemble a rose.

Broomstick lace is a 2-row pattern, the loop row and the stitch row, created with a crochet hook and a knitting needle. The right side always faces you. Complete instructions and technique photos are included with the pattern.
