✿ Pink, sweet, and picture perfect

Ever since we moved to Florida, I’ve been seeing flamingo decor everywhere, so of course it inspired this outfit. I love making it soft and sweet for a newborn.

This precious set includes a bonnet, bloomers, and a little flamingo stuffy, perfect for portraits and fun pictures that capture a new little one.

✨ What makes it work

• A full photo set. Bonnet, bloomers, and a flamingo stuffy.
• Soft mohair. Brushed mohair gives a fuzzy, dreamy look in photos.
• Clean finish. I recommend the invisible decrease for a tidy sc2tog.
• You’re not on your own. A video shows how to work the Ldc in the round and how to join.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Luxe Craft Mohair Brushed, Buttercream, approx. 220 yds (202 m). Colors shown: Light Pink, plus a small amount of Dark Grey.
• Love a swap? Phil Light, Phildar (Grenadine) · Baby Shimmer DK, James C. Brett · Life DK, Stylecraft · Folio, Berroco · Choice DK with Wool, DY
• Hooks: I (5.5mm) · F (3.75mm)
• Tools: Yarn Needle · Removable Stitch Marker · Sewing needle and thread · Fiberfill or yarn scraps
• To finish like the sample: Pink or beige ribbon, approx. 55 in (140 cm) long and 1/2 to 3/4 in (1.27 to 1.9 cm) wide

✿ Sizes

• Newborn to 3 months. For a baby under 2 weeks old, go down one hook size on the clothing.
• Bonnet: 5 in (12.5 cm) tall and 5 in (12.5 cm) deep
• Bloomers: 8 in (20 cm) wide laid flat and 7 in (18 cm) long

• Skill level: Easy
• Gauge: 16 Ldc sts and 8 rows = 4” x 4” · gauge help
• Safety: Due to choking hazards, use only with adult supervision. Perfect for photo sessions.
• Terms: US crochet
