The sockpattern Flamma is part of the pattern collection Welcome to Sweden.
It’s inspired by the warming fires of my childhood when the winter storms are roaring outside the house, Flamma means flame in swedish.
Sweden has got both beautiful summers as well as winters with temperatures down to below 50 degrees.
A warming hearth is something almost necessary to heat up your house at winter and nothing can beat a crackling fire.
Flamma socks are worked from the toe up, with Judy’s Magic Cast On toe and Fleegle heel, two of my favourite techniques when it comes to socks!

The detailed zig-zag patten consists of cables made with out cable needle. The pattern is easy to memorize and contains charts for both sizes.
