A-line silhouette tee with ~1-3cm/1.25” of positive ease. Back neck is shaped with short rows for better fit. The garment is worked top-down mostly in the round. Round yoke is decorated with slip stitch colorwork:
• If you use gradient yarn, use contrasting tail of the ball as CC;
• Choose background color and contrasting color for yoke and hem as desired.
Hem and sleeves are decorated with I-cord. Children sizes for sizes up to 6-7 years includes button.

YARN: summer content: Pima cotton or blend cotton-acrylic; linen – soft yarn recommended to get even slip stitch colorwork panel; silk. Yardage ~380-400m/415-437yds per 100g/3.5oz; 100% silk yarn ~350-380m/415yds per 100g/3.5oz.

Sample was knit in Cotone (MC)(100% cotton worked double-stranded, 780m/853yds per 100g/3.5oz) and Scheepjes Whirl (CC) (60% cotton, 40% acrylic, 450m/492yds per 100g/3.5oz)
NEEDLES:
• Main: 3.25mm/US3 for yoke and 3.5mm/US4 for body (or size to get gauge in Stockinette) circulars on a 40-60cm/16-24” cable:
• Hem: 3mm/US2.5.

NOTIONS: stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle, scissors, waste yarn/ stitch holder/extra cable, for children sizes up to 6-7 years 1 button.
