The Flash cardigan is a large Fair Isle comfy cosy cardigan with optional pockets.
It has wide bell-shaped sleeves as well as all over colour work that is easy to follow and fun to knit. It has been knitted using an Aran/Bulky weight yarn. It grows quickly and the pattern is not too complicated, though still a challenge for anyone who has not knitted colour work or steeks before.

It is a luxurious cardigan that will make you smile when you are knitting it and every time you wear it. It is a perfect addition to your wardrobe and will be an item that you reach for whenever you are feeling the cold. It is knitted from the bottom up using Fair Isle colour work and a middle steek until you reach the armholes and then a further two steeks are added for the sleeves. Instructions for optional
pockets are given. The steeks are secured using a simple crochet stitch and are cut later. Armholes are then picked up and the sleeves are knitted. The shoulders are secured using a three-needle bind off. The front collar stitches are picked up and a neck rib is knitted.
