Pattern was updated Jan 16 2022. If you have an earlier version of the pattern check your mailbox for an update.

This is the second pattern release (third pattern though) for my new Ebook “Just Playing Around”.

Pick a beautiful fingering weight yarn with great stitch definition and this hat will give you hours of satisfying knitting.

Cables and Travelling stitches move up the hat from the band through to the crown. The crown pattern decreases shape up like the tip of an iron, adding definition and shape to the stitch movements.

The mittens were added as a bonus as I had enough yarn left over from the hat and really, what is better than matching hat and mitts!
