now these socks have the seam underneath which some people can cope with and some can not..i needed a pair of robust socks to wear under my boots and there was no way i was using the delicious hand painted merino stuff in my stash lol so i used some pretty cheep acyclic yarn these are also quite strechy!
nb..if you use proper sock wool like the one in the picture (opal) you will need more than one ball so i whould just stick with a large ball of acrylic simply because these are just really bed socks
