Knit it in a lovely bright color to lighten up your spring wardrobe. A cropped length cardigan knit top-down. The shape compliments diverse body shapes. The construction is very unique, with two different ribbing patterns and with pockets for added features. Interesting to knit, cute to wear!

Note
Cardigan is worked flat from the top down and is almost completely seamless. The ribbed collar is worked first, then the yoke, then the body and the front bands are worked together. The collar, sleeves and front bands are worked in 1X1 Rib, and the remainder of the body is worked in Fisherman’s Rib. Because the two pattern stitches differ in gauge, short rows are worked throughout the whole body, so it aligns properly with the front bands. Small pockets are joined to the body as you work. The 3/4 length sleeves are worked last in the round.
