This tank is knit bottom-up, mostly in the round with a 1/1 rib stitch (K1, P1). The ribbing collapses on itself giving it the look of stockinette, without the curl. There is enough ease on this tank to be comfortable and flowy. You can knit it in the suggested wool for a spring/fall appropriate garment, or in a cotton/linen blend for a hot summer tank!
