Fledgling Blanket is a simple and reversible blanket to wrap your wee babe in. There are four sizes including dolly, bassinet, cot/throw and single bed.

It is designed to showcase the stunning yarn from Outlaw Yarns and has panels of garter stitch and chevron arrows, and is knitted flat.

The sample was knitted in the beautiful Bohemia worsted which is a luxurious blend of 45% Polworth/ 45% Alpaca/ 10% Possum and is milled here in New Zealand.

Gauge: 20sts = 4 inches/10 cm in Garter Stitch.

Gauge is not crucial for this project, but keep in mind that differences in gauge will affect yardage and final dimensions. Please take the time to knit a swatch before beginning this project. It is also important to wash and block your swatch.
