The pillow front is knit in two panels, then a design is “reverse appliquéd” by sewing the panels together in the desired shape and then cutting out the top layer to reveal the layer below. The pillow is edged with piping and closes in the back with 3 buttons you cover yourself. It fits over a 14’’ square pillow form.

You will also need: self cover buttons, ribbon, piping cord, tear away stabilizer, thread, and a sewing machine (recommended)
