In our house we like to have toys that you need to interact with. These little flip eggs fit the bill.

Gauge doesn’t matter for this easy little toy but I did use #4 medium worsted weight acrylic yarn and a 3.0 mm hook. The only important thing is to make sure your tension isn’t too tight as that would make flipping a little more difficult. Mine stand at about 2-1/4” tall.
