Explanations are for 3 sizes for grown ups for US, UK and EU sizing, and I have also added short explanations for any other needed sizing:

UK 3,5 - 4 US 6 - 6,5 EU 36 - 37
UK 4 - 5 US 6,5 - 7,5 EU 37 - 38
UK 5 - 6 US 7,5 - 8,5 EU 38 - 39

And why not to knit them for your kids?

Also international needle and yarn explanation charts added.

I used knitting needles NR 3 (metric system), 3 - US, 10 or 11 - UK, some chart tables say a little different but the difference is so small that it will not affect anything for sizing.

Yarn differences also explained. For this size NR of needles you will need UK - 4ply or DK, US - sport yarn or DK/Light worsted.

BUT! If the yarn you would like to use is different or the label is lost - not a problem. I have explained how to reach needed yarns thickness also.

And a very important and BIG plus - I have explained how to choose the right yarn for needles you have and back - how to choose right size needles for the yarn you have, too.
