A versatile pattern for a reversible circular Tunisian Crochet blanket, in sizes XS/S/M/L/XL. The blanket is made up of 14 triangle segments that are sewn together. There are no ends to weave in, as the pattern incorporates the yarn tails into the design. This is an excellent stash-busting pattern to conveniently and efficiently use whatever DK yarn you already have, with minimal or no yarn waste.

This pattern uses reversible Tunisian Crochet Techniques with a double-ended Tunisian Crochet hook and two groups of DK yarn. The reversible Tunisian Simple Stitch produces a cosy and squishy texture.

You will need to know how to work reversible Tunisian Crochet in order to make this Blanket.
Photo-tutorials are provided for clarification on some of the techniques used.

You will also need extra yarn for sewing the triangle segments together.

I’ve used a variety of woollen, acrylic and cotton DK yarns in different colours for the blanket examples shown in the photos. You can use any DK yarn for this pattern. The pattern provides many examples of colour schemes that you can use to make this blanket, and there is a blank blanket template provided at the end of the pattern for you to colour in your own blanket colour scheme.

CONSTRUCTION
The Flip Side Blanket is made using reversible Tunisian Crochet techniques. You will make fourteen triangle segments that are sewn together to create a circular blanket. The triangle segments begin at the tip, increasing in length until you reach the size you need for the radius of the blanket you are making. The triangles are made using the Tunisian Simple Stitch and the increases are worked using the Tunisian Full Stitch. There are no ends to weave in, as the pattern incorporates the yarn tails into the design, as braids around the edge of the blanket and as a feature in the centre, or you can cover the yarn tails in the centre of the blanket with patches.
