DESCRIPTION
The Flip the Script top is a roomy, modified drop-shoulder design that changes its appearance when turned inside-out, making it completely reversible.
One side features clean, vertical columns that create a sleek, elongated look, perfect for adding structure and elegance. The other side showcases horizontal rectangles, giving a more grounded, layered appearance.
The generous amount of positive ease paired with details such as a V-neck, faux-i-cord finishings and elbow length sleeves ensure the maximum level of comfort and elegance, making this your new favorite piece for the spring and summer.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Finished bust circumference: 38 (42, 46, 50, 54) (58, 62, 66, 70) inches or 97 (107, 117, 127, 137) (147, 157, 168, 178) cm
The sizing for this pattern is based on the standard Craft Yarn Council (CYC) measurements.
This top is designed to be worn with up to 10 inches or 25 cm of positive ease around the bust.
All my garment patterns are size-inclusive and are graded for actual bust circumferences of up to at least a 60 inches or 152 cm.

MATERIALS
• Yarn: For a light, breathable top, choose natural fibers. Cotton offers crisp stitch definition and structure, linen provides elegant drape that softens with wear, and bamboo or viscose blends add silky softness and sheen. Merino wool is a versatile option: it’s light, breathable, and elastic, making it perfect for comfort and shape retention while staying suitable for spring-summer wear.
For best results, choose a fingering-weight yarn in at least two, highly contrasting colors.
The sample is shown in Merino Super Sock by La Bien Aimée (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 467 yds / 425 m –100 g) in colorway “Hightower” as MC and “Anemelilies” as CC.
• Hooks: US E-4/3.5 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge. Hook one size larger than gauge hook may be needed for the faux i-cord finishings. I’m a tight crocheter, so you may have to go down in hook sizes.
• Notions: 6 locking stitch markers, safety pins or sewing clips.
