Flit Shawlette
Flit Shawlette is a long triangular shawl crocheted from tip to tip in rows of extended half treble crochet stitches. Increases and decreases are worked only at the end of each wrong side row. After the last decreases have been worked, the border is then added along the diagonal edge with a series of treble crochet clusters and double crochet stitches to create dainty scallops.
Two size options have been included. The larger size has been worked at a bigger gauge and can be completed using one 100g skein of DK weight yarn. The smaller size has been designed for a 25g ball of cashmere DK and is worked at a smaller gauge to create a denser fabric.
For both sizes, you may wish to choose a yarn that feels good against your skin, and which provides some drape to the fabric. A cashmere or cashmere blend are both luxury choices. Alpaca, silk and merino blends may also be lovely options.
Pattern is written using UK crochet terms.
