About : Flo is an airy pullover style crochet top/summer sweater with cropped length and long wide sleeves. It is made using the raglan method, a seamless and easy to work piece with simple stitches. It features Ripple stitches at the lower bottom section and along the sleeve cuff of the garment which adds pretty textured wavy details. There are some calculations involved to work Ripple stitch and this has been explained in the pattern. The stitches are quite open adding breezy drapes making Flo an ideal outfit for summer and transitional seasons alike.

The length of the body is customisable, and since it is top down you can decide along the way where you want to stop. Pattern provides steps for full sleeves but it can also be made into shorter versions. Take a look at the pictures to see the different versions made by my beautiful testers.

Pattern is in English and uses US Terminology.
The pattern is to be made following stitch counts and the calculations have been provided for all sizes. Notes and images have been inserted in the pattern wherever required.

Skill Level - Easy to Intermediate
Should have knowledge of crochet basics, and be familiar with abbreviations.

Sizes: Pattern has Sizes 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 marked as 1(2,3,4,5,6).
To fit bust measurements :
Size 1: 28”-30” / 71-76cm; Size 2: 31”-32” / 79-81cm;
Size 3: 33”-36” / 84-91cm; Size 4: 37”-39” /94-99cm;
Size 5: 40”-42” /102-107cm; Size 6: 43”-46” / 109-117cm;

Measure around the fullest part of the chest/bust to determine the size you will crochet. Finished pieces have 1” to 3” positive ease.

It is made using 4.5mm, 5mm (or .5 hook size up) and 3mm for picot edging; It is very important that you check the gauge and use the hook and yarn that matches the gauge. (Some of the testers had to go a hook size up or two)

It can be made in one color or 2 colors as seen in the pictures.
I used Drops Belle, 8ply borderline DK/worsted yarn, a blend of cotton, viscose and linen; Yardage : 50 grams = 120 meters (131 yards)

I recommend using DK or DK/worsted (medium weight) in cotton or cotton blend;
250(300,350,400,450,500)g / 600(720,850,960,1080,1200)meters approximately.
Please note that yardage required will vary based on the body and sleeve length of the top you decide to make.

The pattern has been tested and revised, and I’ve gone through it multiple times. It may not be perfect but it works very well, and is beautiful. If at any point you have doubts or questions, don’t hesitate to reach me out here or on Instagram @pronoiatitch.
