Crochet pattern for a soft and snuggly baby blanket / christening blanket / baptism blanket.

I think this crochet baby blanket lives up to its name: FLOATING ON CLOUDS CHRISTENING BLANKET!

Baby Luv 100% acrylic, Color: White (120 g, 360 m) x 5

It is soft, ethereal, truly unique, and maybe even a little heavenly. I am very proud of this pattern and the lovely overlay design it utilizes. My friend, Christina, referred to it as having a 3-D effect, and I have to agree with her.

This crochet baby blanket will be a big hit at a special event like a christening or a baby shower. It is snuggly and warm and will be adored by the lucky baby who receives it.

This crochet baby blanket consists of 9 squares. Each square is made by working an overlay pattern in double crochet onto a double crochet grid. Despite its complex and unique look, this crochet technique is not a difficult one.
