Floating Triangles is a square dishcloth knitted flat in two colors. It uses slipped stitches and increases and decreases to create a net of triangles on the right side of the cloth.

Yarn: You will need approximately 40 yards of a worsted-weight cotton in the main color and approximately 15 yards of a worsted-weight cotton in a contrasting color for best results.

Supplies:

  • US size 7 needles
  • tapestry needle

Sizing: Finished dishcloth measures approximately 6” by 6”. The pattern is worked over a multiple of 8 stitches + 1; to change the finished size, cast on more or fewer stitches than called for in multiples of 8.

This is the pattern for Week Twenty-Three of Pattern a Week at Running Jack Knits.
