The Snood begins at the top of the head with a crown gusset. Stitches are picked up along the side of the gusset and then the piece is worked down until it is joined and worked down in the round from under the chin. It is finished with a simple garter edge.

Nearly every inch of the 2 skeins (280 yards/256 meters) of yarn was used to knit the sample shown. If you prefer to continue working your snood with a longer cowl, plan to purchase additional yardage.
