Wonderful days strolling through artisan fairs, flea markets and festivals, that’s where the inspiration for this design was ignited.

Flohmarkt is a large shawl with a lovely soft drape that will behave any way you wish to wear it and it will look eye catching wherever you choose to wear it. Soon to become your wardrobe staple and perfect for all seasons with any yarn colour combinations.

I have also extended this design element into a fun and (quicker to knit) cowl. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/halle-8

The pattern is easy to follow with lots of photos to guide you through the steps. A fun challenge for the advanced beginner or a stimulating knit for the intermediate and experienced knitter. If you prefer you can use 2 circulars or Magic Loop instead of DPNs.

Yarns Used: Hand dyed yarn, colours will vary from batches and computer screen.
Wollmeise Pure: 100% Wool, 150 grams/5 oz. 525 m/574 yds. Fingering (14wpi)
Wollmeise yarns tend to be generous and above their listed weight so I have included the individual weight and leftovers.

Colour A: 1 skein Flohmarkt (Medium) Actual weight of skein was 164 gr. (22 gr. leftover)
Colour B: 1 skein 29 Cu Actual weight of skein was 160 gr. (11 gr. leftover)
Colour C :1 skein Sabrina Actual weight of skein was 168 gr. (8 gr. leftover)

Colours A (multi coloured skein) and B are knit together as stripes in the feature strip of this shawl and Colour C is the accent colour.
