This floppy bear is part teddy, part lovey designed to comfort and stimulate any new baby. It is worked top down with yarn reattached at the bottom of the head to create the body. Arms, ears, nose, and tail are attached at the end. Eyes and nose are embroidered, making this a safe option for kids under 3.

This is a beginner+ pattern.
Skills needed: ch, sl st, sc, dc, tr, increase in sc and dc, decrease in sc and dc, magic ring.

Materials:
1 skein (approximately 240yds) worsted weight yarn in main color (shown here: Lion Brand Color Theory in Bone)
Scrap worsted weight yarn in black for eyes and nose
Scrap worsted weight yarn in color of your choice for bow (optional)
4mm crochet hook
