I wanted a quick sunhat to make for all the little girls I know. That expanded into a few little boys, and an adult or 2 or 3. It’s soft and stretchy, and even the hats made for a 6 month old can still fit a 2 year old.
I’m working on a pattern for a bucket style hat, which will be more “boyish”. Coming soon!

I’ve had a few people suggest that I should have written the pattern with a provisional caston, rather than picking up stitches. There was a method to my madness, I feel the caston/pickup gives the hat more stability. Your MMV, of course!
