Here’s an Easter knitting project for beginner knitters; this fun headband is worked in garter stitch and you can easily alter the size of the headband to fit adults and children. You will need to cast on and off, knit, work a k2tog decrease, and little bit of seaming to finish. These ears are wire free, so they are floppy but also child and baby friendly.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these bunny ears are knitted in acrylic chunky/bulky weight yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 6mm single pointed knitting needles (US 10).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky; bulky weight; 100% acrylic; less than a 100g skein in Blush Pink.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle for seaming.

SIZES
One size only - The headband is 7cm wide, and the ears are 12cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include seaming and k2tog decreases.
