The Flora cardigan is worked from the bottom up, with the body in one piece until you reach the underarm. The sleeves are first worked separately in the round, then joined at the armpit, with the cardigan then finished in one piece. It has a leaf sprig stitch pattern around the bottom hem and cuffs. The leaf pattern section is charted at the end of the pattern. Optional flowers are embroidered afterwards, using lazy daisy embroidery stitch.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Yarn (DK) :50g x 2 (3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8) balls at 100m per ball e.g. Drops Lima

Buttons: 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7)

Needles: 3.5mm & 4.00mm (recommended circular 80-100cm due to stitch count) (plus DPNs for sleeves if not using magic loop).

You’ll also need a bodkin or embroidery needle for the flower heads, plus a cable needle.
