From Knit and Crochet with Beads It is my personal opinion that an allover beaded fabric is far easier to crochet than it is to knit. You can acheive results similiar to true bead knitting with far less time and effort. The silk yarn employed here infuses suppleness into the crochet, which normally does not drape as much as kniting. Like the knitted pockets, make a matching sweater to put the pocket on, or make two pockets and sew them up to create a purse.
