Floral headband is knitted flat in stockinette stitch, then floral motifs are embroidered, the sides are joined together, and finally the headband is sewn on top.

Sizes: Adjustable for all head circumferences, includes written instructions for sizes from 2-year-old to adult sizes.
Head circumferences: 48 (50; 52; 54; 56; 58; 60) cm; 19.00 (19.75; 20.50; 21.25; 22.00; 22.75; 23.50) in,
All measurements are approximate, centimetres are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm, and inches to the nearest 0.25.

Needles: 5.0 mm (US 8) circular needles or single point needles or any size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) using 5mm (US 8) in stockinette stitch after blocking

Yarn: Sport weight yarn, 100 % alpaca held with lace weight silk-mohair yarn, 75% Mohair, 25% Silk. Shown examples are knitted with Filcolana Alpaca (167m/50gr; 183 yd/1.76 oz) in colours Light Blush 334 and Slightly Purple 369, held together with Drops Kid-Silk (212m/25gr; 232 yd/0.88 oz) in colour Light Pink 03.

Embroidery thread: Anchor tapestry wool or any other knitting yarn with clear twist and that is not too stretchy. Shown examples are embroidered in colours 8522, 8582 and 9072.
Yarn requirements: 75 (75, 75, 75, 100, 100, 100) m; 82 (82, 82, 82, 109, 109, 109) yd
Embroidery thread requirements: 5 m; 5.5 yd of each colour

You will also need: Embroidery backing for motif transfer and embroidery sharp needle with large eye, tapestry needle, scissors, Frixion pilot pen.
