★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)

Dinosaur + flower + ladybag in one pattern.

★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

  • Yarn, floss (Gamma, DMC, Madeira, Anchor or others) in 2 threads. Colors:

for a dinosaur you need green, light yellow, also a little darker green (embroider the eyebrows and mouth), pink (embroider the cheeks), white (embroider a semicircle beside the eyes)

for a ladybug you need: red, black, also a little white (embroider the eyes)

for a flower you need: yellow, white, brown.

NOTE: this pattern can also be used for crocheting toys from thicker yarn, so if it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first.

  • Hook №0.7 (0.7mm; it is extremely difficult to crochet from thin yarn, try different hook numbers, perhaps it will be more convenient for you to crochet using thinner or thicker hook: №0.6-0.9)
  • Fiberfill (to stuff)
  • Glue eyes (2mm)
  • Thin wire (0.3mm): for the arms 2pcs, each ~ 3cm long; for the flower stem 1pc ~25cm long
  • Round bead (~3mm), for attaching a flower to a stem; and to decorate the end of the flower stem you need one orange bead, one green bead, one round white pearl bead (Swarovski pearl for example), one red crystal bead (Swarovski crystal for example)
  • Black nail polish (to coat the ladybug’s paws so they hold their shape better), needle, green sewing thread for attaching movable limbs, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).

★ SKILLS REQUIRED:

You must have basic crochet skills (with crocheting micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.

This pattern is ADVANCED LEVEL but easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (15 pages with detailed instructions and ~105 photos illustrating the process)
