Florence is a lightweight, one-skein shawl knit in fingering weight yarn, designed to make the most of a special skein.
The shawl is worked from the top down, beginning with a garter tab cast-on.
A simple section of stockinette stitch allows the yarn to shine, followed by a horizontal lace border along the long edge. The lace pattern, resembles a branch with leaves, adding a subtle, organic detail to this crescent-shaped piece.

This pattern is best suited to confident knitters who are comfortable reading charts and working increases and decreases in lace. It’s a satisfying knit for those looking to explore more intricate stitch patterns in a manageable, one-skein project.
