The Florence tank is knitted from the bottom up in one piece. After separating the armholes, the fronts and back are knitted separately. The straps are worked with the buttonband stitches and then seamed to the top of the back.

The Florence tank was inspired by the carved stone details on historic buildings. The mock cables are perfectly paired with the crisp stitch definition of the silk yarn. The stitch pattern is worked both on the RS and the WS, which can be a bit tricky at first, but the pattern is easy to memorize.
