To make a larger size:

The repeat for the lace edging is the instructions between the * (stars) on row 1 (11 stitches). I knitted the main scarf to 188 stitches. (188 divided by 11 = 17 with 1 left over)

If you want to make it bigger continue until you get to the size that you want then make sure that the number of stitches will divide by 11 with 1 stitch left over before doing the lace edging.
