I love making coasters and also love having some lace-details on my coasters. Yet, most of the lacy designs have big holes which are not very functional for coasters (I need my coasters to absorb the condensation from cold drink cans!)

Thus, Floret Wei was born. To look pretty and yet functional. Consisting mostly of DC stitches, with just a hint of scallop edges and lace-eyelets. I hope you enjoy making these as much as I did.

The written pattern is meant for advanced-beginners who already know DC, SC, SS, Chain space. It is a simple design with only 6 rows, for a quick and satisfying project. Each coaster can be done in 20 minutes or less.
