This pattern is suitable for post-beginner or easy Intermediate, it requires basic knowledge of crochet stitches:
magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet/treble crochet and how to crochet in spiral.

2 in 1, you will get 2 pdf files, one for UK and one for US crochet terms.

You will need:
3 mm crochet hook (2.5 or 2.75 mm hook will work as well but the size of the Flamingo will be smaller), yarn needle, DK weight cotton yarn ( I used So Crafty 100% cotton amigurumi
yarn): pink (approx. 50 g)/ white (approx. 20 g)/black (under 1 m), stitch marker, scissors, toy
stuffing (approximately 20 g), 2 x wire (approximately 36 cm each, I used no. 20 flower making
wire) and 2 safety eyes (I used 9mm eyes but you can use other sizes).
This pattern was also tested without adding wire; flamingo will look the same but won’t be bendable.

Tension is not important for amigurumi, but stitches should be tight without any gaps.
My tension is 5 stitches/ 6 rounds = 2.5 x 2.5 cm.

Finished Flamingo will be about 32 cm if the head is bent, about 45 cm stretched out.

Pattern was tested by some wonderful people from Crochet UK Facebook group. Thank you all :)
