Valley Yarns Designer Series’ Flottante is an adorable lacy tee knit using Valley Superwash Sport. The pullover is knit in the round from the bottom up with an easy-to-memorize lace pattern, using Nalgar shaping for a layering top with almost no finishing work. Nalgar construction (“raglan” spelled backward), thanks to the genius of Elizabeth Zimmermann, involves increasing stitches to form the sleeves as you create the yoke. The lace pattern is charted and written out.
