Flounder the Friendly Fish
What a sweet fish to crochet .
This is a 12 page pattern. Lots of picture to show you how to sew pieces on. 
Size: 
10” long, 5” wide without fin, 8” wide with fins, 6” tall 
Supplies: 
4 ply worsted weight yarn 
Body (Red Heart bright yellow) approx. 145 yards includes nose and lip 
Eyes (Red Heart spring green, white and black) approx. green-3 yards, white-6 yards, black- 2 yards 
Fins (Red Heart turqua and delta blue) approx. 25 yards turqua 
Stripes (Red Heart delta blue) approx. 33 yards delta blue includes fins 
Mouth (Red Heart red and bright yellow) approx. red- 2 yards 
Lines on the Face (Mercerized cotton thread size 3) 
E hook (you can use a bigger size but make sure you don’t go to big or the stuffing will show) 
Yarn needle 
Stitch markers or a scrap of yarn 
Stuffing 
Mercerized cotton thread size 3 for embroidery lines on face
Please read the entire pattern before beginning. 
Stitch explanation: 
(sc) single crochet 
(ch) chain 
(2tog) 2 sc together 
2sc) 2 sc in one sc 
(F/O) fasten off 
() repeat between 
(hdc) half- double crochet 
magic ring or ch 2 method
