This cowl is a special collaboration with Oysters and Purls Yarns and uses one skein each of her squishy corriedale yarn.

This cowl was designed for my grandma’s (we call her Granny) 90th birthday. She loves flowers and the color pink, and I thought it would be special to design something specifically for her to celebrate such a happy day. The design was inspired by memories of when I stayed with her in the summer as a young child; she would teach me a new craft almost every trip. Her love of flowers and recollections of us picking wildflowers from her family property and then arranging them in a pretty vase when we got home helped influence the motifs.

This cowl would be a great beginner project for the knitter wanting to learn stranded colorwork.

This cowl is knit in the round from the bottom edge to the top. It utilizes stranded colorwork.
