Make this perfect sized project bag or small day bag by making squares and joining them. The handle is worked in the round after the squares are assembled. (Finished size approximately 10.5” wide by 8-10” tall, measuring the shortest and tallest points.)

This project was designed with 2 colors of Seaspun, which is a soft drapey recycled plastic and cotton yarn, and Paperie, which has fun color pattern! This project could also be worked with any non-stretchy worsted weight yarn. It could also make a fun scrap buster!

The stitches used are Chain, Double crochet, Half double crochet, Single crochet, Slip stitch and an extended single crochet. There are links to videos for the square construction, which include directions on the extended single crochet.
