An advanced beginner / intermediate project.

There’s a few different elements, but if you take your time and work through step by step, there aren’t any “complicated” stitches.
(if you need any help, I’m here!)

A fun, bright shawl (because we all need a little happiness this year right?!) that can be worn as both a shawl / cover-up (I’m dreaming of summer evenings where we aren’t all stuck inside!) and as a scarf (because although I don’t really want to admit it… it’s still pretty wintery here!)

The original shawl was made with Hayfield Spirit DK Acrylic yarn (shade 0400) and a US H-8/ 5mm hook.
This pattern can be easily adapted to use a 4ply yarn, with a US 7/ 4.5mm hook.
If using a yarn cake, I like to make the tassels first (so I can just keep crocheting until I reach the end!). Choose either the centre colour, or carefully unravel the outside colour (replacing the band after!)
