MATERIALS

Original yarn: 90 g of 100% thin merino wool, 800 m (875 yds) per 100 g (3.5 oz) skein. Total amount of yarn will depend on your personal knitting gauge as well as on the needle size you choose.

Alternative yarn: any natural fiber in approx. suggested yardage from 500 to 1000 m per 100 g skein.

Circular knitting needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 40” (100 cm) length cable for body; US 5 (3.75 mm) 40” (100 cm) length cable for border.

Notions: some waste yarn; stitch markers and sewing pins, 3 mm crochet hook.
