This warm bobble blanket will make an ideal travel companion for a baby in the buggy or in the car.

The finished size is 77 x 83 cm and not as shown in the pattern.

In the sample shown, 8 balls of white yarn and 4 balls of pink were used.

I made this blanket for a friend’s baby granddaughter, after which I decided to share the pattern here for free. I was delighted that others have used the pattern, making little changes to add that personal touch: I used dc (US sc) for the background, but others have used htr (US hdc) and someone has used herringbone stitch and they all look so lovely.
