Inspired by the crotchet coaster set by BRUNATICALITY (found here), this set of 100% knitted coasters is meant to resemble a flower when laid flat, or a tiny knit plant when bunched together in its knit “pot.” Alternatively, you could use a mini terracotta planter to hold them, and it looks just as cute.

Coasters are knit in the round with lace and basic colorwork. The knit pot is also knit in the round but with a fun linen stitch for structure and texture. Pattern includes written instructions, photos, and the original colorwork description.

Materials
YARN
You’ll want natural fires (acrylic has potential to melt from heat. I’m using Waxwing Yarn in Cèdre
3 - 4 different colors: about 4g each per coaster
I’m using pin, mousse, brume and ciboulette

You’ll need 2.25mm/ US1 (coasters), 4.5mm/ US7 (holder)
Stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry needle for weaving ends
