Flower power and Liberty were originally inspired on a early morning summer walk along the West Lyn river, we came across a small meadow on the bank of the river full of sparkling cobwebs and summer flowers.
I designed the 2 blankets as a pair, this first one is called flower power and is inspired and named after my mother used in the 1970’s. The fabrics were bright and bold and as I was a born in the 1960’s Flower power seemed like the perfect name.
design to contrast with the subtle delicacy of liberty fabric design.
So I looked at fabrics I remember from the 1970’s when I was growing up.
