The pattern is written for 3 baby shoe sizes using light worsted weight / DK yarn (weight category 3) & 4.0 mm crochet hook for the shoe. You will need some sock/fingering yarn (weight category 1) and a 2.5 mm crochet hook for the flowers. You will also need 2 pieces of 5 mm buttons:-

Size 1: 0+ to 3 months old (up to 9.5 cm long)
Size 2: 3+ to 6 months old (up to 10 cm long)
Size 3: 6+ to 9 months old (up to 11 cm long)
